WHY CHAKRAS ARE IMPORTANT:
Explore the mystical energy of the 7 primary chakra systems located throughout the energetic body. Starting at the base of the spine and extending all the way through the crown of the head, the seven main chakras all work together to maintain the vitality of the body and mind.
Chakras are associated with specific locations in the body that correspond with our biological systems, mainly the endocrine glands and central nervous system. Consequently, disturbances to the energy of the chakras can manifest as physical symptoms on a biological level.
Our understanding of chakras is purely energetic, however, if any of these vital channels are thrown off balance or blocked, physical symptoms may occur. The chakras are also associated with a rainbow of colors, representing various elements, planets, postures, sound frequencies, and emotional states of being. Connection to your chakras can indicate your current emotional state – as the emotions in our bodies shift, so does our connection to the chakra wheels, ever-present within.

A Grief Gathering: Embodied Processing

HANNAH MASON is a yoga instructor, certified herbalist and integrative grief guide. She offers her innate and lived wisdom through her classes, coaching and group programs. Hannah is an advocate for empowering the individual to self-heal and a reminder of both the resilience and tenderness of the human experience. She works with clients 1:1 at her studio in DTLA and via zoom.
ROZY BOSWELL is a coach and breathwork practitioner based in Culver City, CA. She brings her advanced study of healing arts to clients seeking support with life and career transitions. Rozy sees clients in person out of her studio and via zoom.

When was the last time you had a real heart to heart with yourself?
Join Justine Miller, writer and Ayurvedic yoga teacher, for a 90-minute workshop designed to start the conversation with yourself, to put words or pictures to whatever comes up in your practice. As we enter a New Year, it's a powerful portal to witness and manifest your deepest desires. You will be led through asanas and a flow in relationship with each element: ether, air, fire, water and earth, with time to pause and reflect with prompts in between. What would happen if you gave in? Put your pen to the mat and see what happens.
Bring: journal, pen, pencil, colored pencils, crayons, (be creative!) comfortable clothing, intentions.
Justine began writing poetry as soon as she realized she was left handed. Expression through the written word has led to transformation and growth through the years. She earned her B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Creative Writing, and yoga entered her life soon after, creating another outlet for self-expression. She went to study at the Kripalu School of Yoga where she received her 500-hr Ayurvedic Yoga Teaching certification and 650-hr Ayurvedic Health Counseling certification.
Justine supports her students in noticing shifts within their physical, mental and spiritual journey through self-reflection on the mat.

Sahar Sharif is a Sound Practitioner residing in Los Angeles. She uses the vibration and frequencies of Sun, Moon and Dark Star Gongs, Perfect Pitch tuned crystal quartz singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and high frequency tuners to shift the mind and body to a deep meditative state. Facilitating an environment for relaxation, restoration and self-healing is the core of her work.

You will leave with a greater understanding of your own limiting patterns, guidance and tools to navigate the holidays, an open heart, and you will feel a lot lighter!
Breathwork is a tool for deep healing, clearing stuck emotions and trauma from your nervous system. It also creates a beautiful heart opening experience for you to feel your own love and essence within yourself.

This workshop is designed for those who have always been intrigued by yoga, but haven’t quite figured out where to start. I’ve noticed that, when you’re just getting started with your practice, some yoga classes can feel too advanced and might leave you feeling overwhelmed. My objective is to break down the basics and to make yoga accessible to everyone. Let’s also tackle any mind-story that is stopping you from getting started and showing up.
