In a blend of practice, meditation, reflection, dharma talk, mantra, mudra and asana, Summer Restival retreat will give us an opportunity to practice self care. 

Reconnect to your joyful elemental nature with practices of embodied, powerful and inspirational tools for the heart of yoga's roots. 

Trained in the Shankaracharya Hatha yoga tradition, known for warmth, powerful storytelling, breadth of yoga cultural knowledge, and empowering teaching methodologies rich with ritual and poetry, Susanna shares an authentic and supportive approach to yoga and will guide you through a gentle restorative, inspiring practice and learning experience to ignite creativity, align with the flow of nature and space to soothe and recharge our batteries. 

Expect a gentle space, with time to reflect, learn, practice journal and connect. Movement will be slow, powerful flow with core stability work building to a more vigorous flow with time for cool down and integration. Students say they feel inspired, positive, peaceful, calm and empowered from this experience.

Susanna Barkataki, (she/her) has been called “a trailblazing yoga leader and visionary for our times.” An Indian teacher building bridges in the West, she is known for her work in decolonizing and embracing the roots of yoga.
