Alyssa Fletcher
Alyssa began practicing yoga in high school, while exploring different modalities to cross train and support her technique as a dancer. She immediately fell in love with the healing benefits yoga has to offer, and has been a devoted practitioner ever since. Her background as a dancer has contributed to her knowledge of body awareness and functionality, which becomes evident in her class as it invokes a sense of play and freedom while maintaining alignment and organization in the body.
Alyssa received her first 200hr teacher training in 2017 from Island Yoga and her second 200hr in 2021 from Light on Lotus. She has also acquired a 25hr advanced sequencing training, as well as a 20hr Mantras, Mudras, and Mythology training both from Light on Lotus.
She is passionate about helping others connect deeper to themselves, and their bodies through breath and movement. Guiding people toward their most empowered and aligned version of self, through the power of yoga has become a great source of joy in her life and she is grateful to be able to share the practice. Her class is sweaty and sweet; you can expect to feel a sense of joy, as well as deeply held and supported.
