This workshop is designed for those who have always been intrigued by yoga, but haven’t quite figured out where to start. I’ve noticed that, when you’re just getting started with your practice, some yoga classes can feel too advanced and might leave you feeling overwhelmed. My objective is to break down the basics and to make yoga accessible to everyone. Let’s also tackle any mind-story that is stopping you from getting started and showing up.
The workshop will include:
- Welcome circle and meditation
- Basic breathing techniques
- Connecting breath to movement
- Basic asanas / yoga poses (child's pose, mountain, half lift, down-dog, baby cobra)
- Savasana & adjustments
- Time to respond to any questions & discussion
